Ricardo van Steen (São Paulo, Brazil, 1958) is a visual artist and filmmaker. His production englobes a wide range of media, such as drawing, photography, painting, sculpting, object and installation, in which technical virtuosity and dialogue between artistic movements figure as central features.

As the director of films such as “Shoot Yourself” (2012), “Noel - Poeta da Vila” (2007), “Tinta Fresca” (2005), the artist has works in the Coleção Pirelli/MASP de Fotografia.
