Zipper Galeria is pleased to announce its participation on the 7th Odeón, Contemporary Art Fair in Bogota, Colombia. Zipper’s booth 7 will gather works from the series Dad’s Suicide, by André Penteado.
Awarded by the Pierre Verger National Photography Prize in 2013, the series was created from an experience lived by the artist himself. He investigates the feelings that arose at three different moments of the grieving process: the pain and shock caused by receiving the news, the farewell process experienced in the weeks after the burial, and finally the emotional traces of this loss over time.
