Flávia Junqueira São Paulo, Brazil, b. 1985

Flávia Junqueira (São Paulo, Brazil, 1985) deals mainly with photography. The visual universe of childhood and the construction of an imaginary about this period permeate the work of the artist from the beginning of her production.


Her works are part of collections such as MAM-SP, MIS-SP, MABFAAP, Museu do Itamaraty, RedBull Station, World Bank and Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz. A PhD from the Instituto de Arte da Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP, with a Master’s in Visual Poetry from Universidade de São Paulo and a Bachelor’s of Arts from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, the artist also did her postgraduate studies in photography at FAAP.


Featuring among the main projects and exhibitions she has participated in, are: “Culture and Conflict: IZOLYATSIA in Exile”, Palais de Tokyo (Paris, 2014), “The World Bank Art Program”, Kaunas Photo Festival, 2010; “Tomorrow I will be born again”, Cité Dês Arts, 2011; “Subjetivo Feminino: una Mirada Latino Americana”, of project Photo España (Instituto Cervantes São Paulo, 2009), "Projeto para Finais Felizes", Temporada de Projetos do Paço das Artes (São Paulo, 2013).
