Monica Piloni Curitiba, Brazil, b. 1978

In sculptures, objects and photographs, Monica Piloni (Curitiba, Brazil, 1978) distorts the human body with dismemberment, omission or multiplication of elements that generate a disturbing, unnatural and morbid form. Her work, at the same time, questions the sexualization of the female figure and instigates sensuality through distorted naked bodies that repel and attract.
