Felipe Seixas São Bernardo do Campo - SP, Brazil, b. 1989

Felipe Seixas (São Bernardo do Campo, 1989) explores the relationship between materials in the construction of form. Concrete, coal, sand, asphalt, mortar, steel, wood, and pigment figure in his sculptural research often in opposition to the immateriality of new technologies, incorporated in his most recent production.

The artist holds a bachelor's degree in Social Communication with a certificate in Digital Design (2011) from Anhanguera University, São Paulo. He attended the courses "Sculpture as an artistic object in the 21st century", with Ângela Bassan (2015), and "Sculptures and Installations: Contemporary Possibilities" (2016), with Laura Belém, both at FAAP; and joined the project mentoring group Hermes Visual Arts, with Nino Cais and Carla Chaim.
